DescriptionThe Staff Research Associate will support research in the areas of developmental and stem cell biology. Responsibilities include cell culture of mammalian cell lines including human fibroblasts and human pluripotent stem cells. The candidate will assess the epigenetic state of human induced pluripotent stem cell lines through imaging and genomics approaches. The work will also involve basic molecular biology approaches such as cloning of plasmids, preparation of buffers and solutions, RT-PCR, immunostaining, RNA FISH, immunostaining and immunoblotting, and the keeping of weekly summaries of experiments and cell lines.
