The role you’ll contribute:
The Research and Accreditation Coordinator will provide support to the Dean/Chief Nurse Administrator (CNA) and Director of Academic & Student Success on preparing documents to be submitted to the various research related and accreditation agencies. The coordinator will organize, write, edit, design, prepare, and submit reports to support the Dean/CNA and Director, with accreditation, qualitative and quantitative research proposals and projects, new program development, and other proposals. The Coordinator will maintain a project timeline and schedule and provide administrative support to the Dean/CNA and Director. The Coordinator of Research and Accreditation will maintain a professional, caring, and warm environment within the Nursing Department
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Lead the preparation of self-studies, annual reports, and mitigation of program deficiencies. • Serve as contact person for the department with regard to state, professional, and accrediting groups, the community, and other external contacts. • Write, edit, design, prepare, and submit proposals for new programs and projects for the Nursing Department. • Write, edit, design, prepare, and submit accreditation self-study to support the Dean/CNA. • Maintain schedules and provide project management support to the Dean/CNA, or designee.
Participates in orientation process with AHU Research team, including mentoring and precepting of nurse faculty, staff, and students. • Develop research guides / handbook to support faculty, staff, and students with qualitative and quantitative research, grants, case study protocols, and other scholarly activities. • Provide seminars to educate faculty, staff, and students on scholarship and research activities. • Guide nursing and affiliated faculty in the development of the nursing research agenda. • Assist in the development of manuals for operations, standard operating procedures, and regulatory policy for the program. • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with members of other health care disciplines in order to facilitate clinical and research outcomes. • Inform programs' curriculum design to support scholarly activities in achieving student learning outcomes and overall program outcomes. • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, schools, and peer institutions to strengthen scholarship for the nursing programs.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Master of Science in Nursing from a regionally accredited university with national nursing accreditation • Maintain current CITI credentials for Human Subjects Protections. • 3 years of accreditation proposals experience. • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research proposals, grants and/or any experience working in a laboratory/medical research environment. • Experience managing projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: • Doctoral Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited university
